ECD class was introduced in 2006 by the Church of Christ with Everlasting Gospel to assist orphaned and destitute children in the Umoja village to acquire early childhood education. Due to the high rate of poverty, many children can not afford to pay fees for this education. Therefore, hundreds of  children just roam in the village and streets lacking access to this opportunity.

Because of  this situation, the church decided to initiate this ECD programme to curb the increasing number of children in the village who are not capable of paying for this basic education. The programme is now assisting 30 orphaned and destitute children from the surrounding village.

For these children, the programme can guarantee them hope, faith, and a bright future. Given help, these children will not lack ECD education. Therefore, we are seeking funds to build three (3) classrooms, four (4) toilets, teaching aids, teachers' salaries, desks, uniforms, and one big room for an ECD library to expand these services to other needy cases.
